Change a user password

This topic describes how to change a user password in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

Prerequisites

The user that you use has been granted the permissions to use the Users module. The Users module is available only to user admin.

Procedure

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click Users to go to the user management page.

3. On the Local Users page, click the name of the desired user. The details page of the user appears.

4. On the left side of the details page, click and select Change Password from the drop-down list.

5. In the dialog box that appears, enter and confirm a new password, and click OK.

   common:NOTE

   The password must contain digits, letters, and special characters including ~!@#$%^&*_. The password can be 8 to 32 characters in length.
