Edit a timer task

This topic describes how to edit a timer task in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console. The edit operation allows you to modify the basic information and policy of a timer task.

Prerequisites

User admin can edit all timer tasks in your cluster. Project administrators and operators can edit the timer tasks created on their own, and project viewers cannot edit timer tasks.

Edit from the list of timer tasks

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Timer > Timer Tasks.

4. Find the timer task that you want to edit, click on the right side, and then select Edit from the drop-down list.

5. In the dialog box that appears, modify the basic information and policy of the timer task, and click OK. For more information about parameters, see Create a timer task.

Edit from the timer task details page

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Timer > Timer Tasks.

4. On the Timer Tasks tab, click the name of the task that you want to edit. The details page of the timer task appears.

5. On the left side of the details page, click and select Edit from the drop-down list.

6. In the dialog box that appears, modify the basic information and policy of the timer task, and click OK. For more information about parameters, see Create a timer task.
