View physical network details

Describes how to view physical network details in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to view physical network details in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

Prerequisites

The user that you use has been granted the permissions to use the Physical Resources module. The Physical Resources module is available only to user admin.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Physical Resources to go to the management page of physical resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Networks > Physical Networks to go to the management page of physical networks.

  4. On the Physical Networks page, click the name of the physical network that you want to view. The details page of the physical network appears.

  5. On the left side of the details page, view basic information about the physical network.

    ParameterDescription
    ID
    The universally unique identifier (UUID) of the physical network in the system. The UUID is automatically assigned by the system.
    Status
    The status of the physical network.
    Type
    The type of the physical network.
    • Business Network: the network used for running business workloads on VMs.
    • EIP Network: the network used for EIPs.
    Created at
    The time when the physical network was created.
    Created by
    The username that is used to create the physical network.
  6. On the right side of the details page, click the Subnets tab to view subnets created in the physical network. The following table describes the parameters.

    ParameterDescription
    Name
    The name of the physical subnet.
    ID
    The UUID of the physical subnet in the system. The UUID is automatically assigned by the system.
    VLAN ID
    The VLAN ID in which the physical subnet resides.
    IP Range
    The IP address range in which the physical subnet resides.
    Gateway
    The gateway address of the physical subnet.
    Available IPs
    The number of IP addresses available in the physical subnet.
    Used IPs
    The number of IP addresses used in the physical subnet.
  7. On the right side of the details page, click the NICs tab to view information about NICs. The following table describes the parameters.

    ParameterDescription
    Name
    The name of the NIC.
    MAC Address
    The physical address of the NIC, which is the unique identifier of the NIC in the network.
    Status
    The status of the NIC.
    Node
    The name of the node on which the NIC resides.
    IP Address
    The node IP address where the NIC resides.
    MTU
    The maximum transmission unit (MTU) of the NIC.
    Rate
    The transmission rate of the NIC.
