Edit an alert policy

This topic describes how to edit an alert policy in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console. You can edit an alert policy to modify its basic information and alert rule.

Prerequisites

User admin can edit all alert policies in your cluster. Project administrators and operators can edit the alert policies created on their own, and project viewers cannot edit alert policies.

Edit from the list of alert policies

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.

4. On the Alert Policies tab, find the alert policy that you want to edit, click , and then select Edit from the drop-down list.

5. In the dialog box that appears, modify the basic information and rule of the alert policy, and click OK. For more information about parameters, see Create an alert policy.

Edit from the alert policy details page

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.

4. On the Alert Policies tab, click the name of the alert policy that you want to edit. The details page of the alert policy appears.

5. On the details page of the alert policy, click Edit in the upper-left corner.

6. In the dialog box that appears, modify the basic information and rule of the alert policy, and click OK. For more information about parameters, see Create an alert policy.
