View the details of a disk

Describes how to view the details of a disk in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to view the details of a disk in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

User admin can view all disks created in your cluster. Common users such as project administrators, operators, and viewers can view the disks created in the projects to which they belong.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Disks.

  4. On the Disks page, click the name of the disk that you want to view. The details page of the disk appears.

  5. In the Basic Info section, view basic information about the disk. The following table describes the parameters.

    ParameterDescription
    ID
    The universally unique identifier (UUID) of the disk in the system.
    Status
    The status of the disk.
    Size
    The toal size of the disk specified when you create the disk.
    Project
    The project name in which the disk is created.
    Created at
    The time when the disk was created.
    Created by
    The username that is used to create the disk.
  6. In the VM section, view the VM to which the disk is mounted.

    common:NOTE

    • You can click 18px to mount the disk to a VM.

    • To unbind the disk from a VM, click close next to the VM ID.

  7. On the right side of the details page, view disk snapshots. The following table describes the parameters.

    ParameterDescription
    Name
    The name of the snapshot.
    The name can be up to 30 characters in length. The types of characters are unlimited.
    ID
    The UUID of the snapshot in the system.
    Description
    The description of the snapshot.
    The description can be up to 128 characters in length. The character types are unlimited.
    Size
    The available disk size when the snapshot is created.
    Created at
    The time when the snapshot was created.
