Unshare an image

Describes how to unshare an image in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to unshare an image in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

Prerequisites

The user that you use has been granted the permissions to manage VM images. Only user admin, project administrators, and operators can manage VM images. Project viewers can view only VM images in the projects to which they belong. For more information about permissions, see VM management.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose VMs > Images to go to the management page of VM images.

  4. On the Shared Images tab, click operation-menu next to the image that you want to unshare, and select Unshare from the drop-down list.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK. After you stop sharing the image, you cannot replicate the image to other projects. This operation does not affect the images that have been replicated.
