View the details of a system log entry

Describes how to view the details of a system log entry in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to view the details of a system log entry in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

Prerequisites

User admin can view all system logs in your cluster. Common users such as project administrators, operators, and viewers can view the system logs in the projects to which they belong.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Logs.

  4. On the System Logs tab, find the system log entry that you want to view and double-click to view its details.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, view the details of the system log entry.

  6. (Optional) In the upper-left corner of the dialog box, click 18px, select or customize a time range, and then click OK to view the system log entries generated during a specific period of time.

  7. (Optional) Click 18px to clear the log entries in the search box. You can also click the search box and enter a keyword to search for log entries by keyword. For example, enter failed to search for system log entries whose name contains the string failed.

  8. (Optional) click 18px or 18px to start or stop the display of the real-time system log entries.

  9. (Optional) Click 18px and select a refresh frequency to update real-time system log entries at a specified interval.

  10. (Optional) Click 18px to export the system log entries in the TXT format.
