Delete security groups

Describes how to delete security groups in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to delete security groups in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

Prerequisites

User admin can delete all security groups in your cluster. Project administrators and operators can delete the security groups created on their own, and project viewers cannot delete security groups.

Delete a security group

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Security Groups.

  4. Find the security group that you want to delete, click operation-menu on the right side, and then select Delete from the drop-down list.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

    common:WARNING

    The security group cannot be restored after it is deleted. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.

Delete multiple security groups at a time

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Security Groups.

  4. On the Security Groups page, select the check boxes next to the security groups that you want to delete, and click Delete.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

    common:WARNING

    Security groups cannot be restored after they are deleted. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.
