Modify user settings

Describes how to modify user settings in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to modify user settings in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console. You can perform operations to change the email address and password of the current user, and the language used in the web console.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KSV web console, click set-login-user in the upper-right corner, and then select User Settings.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, select the Basic Info and Password tabs to change the email address and password of the current user, and the language used in the web console.

    ParameterDescription
    Username
    The name of the current user. You cannot modify the username after the user is created.
    The name can contain only lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens (-), and must start and end with a lowercase letter or a digit. The name can contain up to 16 characters in length.
    Email
    The email address of the current user.
    Language
    The language used in the web console. Currently, simplified Chinese and English are supported.
    Current Password
    The original password of the current user.
    The password must contain digits, letters, and special characters including ~!@#$%^&*_. The password can be 8 to 32 characters in length.
    New Password
    The new password of the current user.
    Confirm Password
    Enter your new password again to confirm.
  3. Click 18px to save changes.
