View the details of an image

Describes how to view the details of an image in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to view the details of an image in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

User admin can view all images created in your cluster. Common users such as project administrators, operators, and viewers can view all system images and the images created in the projects to which they belong.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose VMs > Images to go to the management page of VM images.

  4. On the System Images, Private Images, or Shared Images tab, view the images of a specific type. For more information about images of different types, see Images.

  5. Click the name of the image that you want to view. The details page of the image appears.

  6. On the left side of the details page, view basic information about the image.

    ParameterDescription
    ID
    The universally unique identifier (UUID) of the image in the system.
    Status
    The status of the image.
    OS
    The OS type of the image.
    Version
    The OS version of the image.
    Created at
    The time when the image was created.
    Created by
    The username that is used to create the image.
  7. On the right-side Overview tab, view the default configuration of the image.

    ParameterDescription
    CPU
    The number of CPU cores defined in the image.
    Memory
    The memory size defined in the image.
    System Disk
    The system disk size defined in the image.
  8. On the right-side VMs tab, view the VMs created based on the image. For more information about parameters, see Create a VM.
