Edit a disk

Describes how to edit a disk in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to edit a disk in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console. The edit operation allows you to modify the name and description of a disk. If you want to resize resources for a disk, see Resize disk resources.

Prerequisites

The user that you use has been granted the permissions to manage disks. Only user admin, project administrators, and operators can manage disks. Project viewers can view only disks in the projects to which they belong. For more information about permissions, see Disks.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Disks.

  4. Find the disk that you want to edit, click operation-menu on the right side, and then select Edit from the drop-down list.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, modify Name and Description of the disk, and click OK.
