Delete SSH keys

This topic describes how to delete SSH keys in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to delete SSH keys in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console. For security purposes, each user can delete only the SSH keys created on their own.

Prerequisites

The user that you use has been granted the permissions to manage SSH keys. Only user admin, project administrators, and project operators can manage SSH keys.

Delete an SSH key

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click SSH to go to the SSH Keys page.

  4. Find the SSH key that you want to delete, click operation-menu on the right side, and then select Delete from the drop-down list.

  5. Click OK.

    common:WARNING

    The SSH key cannot be restored after it is deleted. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.

Delete multiple SSH keys at a time

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click SSH to go to the SSH Keys page.

  4. On the SSH Keys page, select the check boxes next to the SSH keys that you want to delete and click Delete.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

    common:WARNING

    SSH keys cannot be restored after they are deleted. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.
