Edit a security group

Describes how to edit a security group in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to edit a security group in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console. The edit operation allows you to modify the name and description of a security group.

Prerequisites

User admin can edit all security groups in your cluster. Project administrators and operators can edit the security groups created on their own, and project viewers cannot edit security groups.

Edit from the list of security groups

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Security Groups.

  4. Find the security group that you want to edit, click operation-menu on the right side, and then select Edit from the drop-down list.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, modify Name and Description of the security group, and click Update.

Edit from the security group details page

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Security Groups.

  4. On the Security Groups page, click the name of a security group to view its details.

  5. On the left side of the security group details page, click Edit in the upper-left corner.

  6. In the dialog box that appears, modify Name and Description of the security group, and click Update.
