View the details of an alert policy
Describes how to view the details of an alert policy in the KSV web console.
This topic describes how to view the details of an alert policy in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.
Prerequisites
User admin can view all alert policies in your cluster. Common users such as project administrators, operators, and viewers can view the alert policies in the projects to which they belong.
Procedure
Log in to the KSV web console.
In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.
On the Alert Policies tab, click the name of the desired alert policy. The details page of the alert policy appears.
On the left side of the details page, view basic information about the alert policy.
Parameter Description StatusThe status of the alert. Valid values:- Firing: The alert trigger condition has been met for a period of time specified in the alert rule.
- Pending: The alert trigger condition has not been met for a period of time specified in the alert rule.
- Normal: The alert trigger condition has not been met.
AliasThe alias of the alert policy.SeverityThe severity of the alert. Valid values:- Critical: an alert condition that requires immediate response.
- Major: an error without the need to take immediate action.
- Minor: a non-critical condition that has not caused a degradation in performance.
Duration (mins)The duration of the alert.An alert is fired if the duration has been reached.RuleThe alert rule of the alert policy.Activated atThe time when the alert was fired.Created byThe username that is used to create the alert policy.On the right side of the details page, view the monitoring targets that correspond to the alert policy.
Parameter Description NameThe name of the monitoring target.IDThe universally unique identifier (UUID) of the monitoring target in the system.StatusThe status of the monitoring target.
