View alert policies
Describes how to view alert policies in the KSV web console.
This topic describes how to view alert policies in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.
Prerequisites
User admin can view all alert policies in your cluster. Common users such as project administrators, operators, and viewers can view the alert policies in the projects to which they belong.
Procedure
Log in to the KSV web console.
In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.
On the Alert Policies tab, view alert policies.
You can view all alert policies in the system. The following table describes the parameters.
Parameter Description NameThe name of the alert policy.You can view the alias of the alert policy below the alert policy name.StatusThe status of the alert. Valid values:- Firing: The alert trigger condition has been met for a period of time specified in the alert rule.
- Pending: The alert trigger condition has not been met for a period of time specified in the alert rule.
- Normal: The alert trigger condition has not been met.
SeverityThe severity of the alert. Valid values:- Critical: an alert condition that requires immediate response.
- Major: an error without the need to take immediate action.
- Minor: a non-critical condition that has not caused a degradation in performance.
Monitoring TargetThe monitoring target of the alert. KSV can monitor nodes and VMs.RuleThe alert rule of the alert policy.(Optional) Click the search box above the alert policy list and specify a condition to search for alert policies by name, status, or severity. For example, use Name:ab to search for alert policies whose name contains the string ab.
(Optional) In the upper-right corner of the page, click to refresh data.
