Enable or disable a timer task

This topic describes how to enable or disable a timer task in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

Prerequisites

User admin can enable or disable all timer tasks in your cluster. Project administrators and operators can enable or disable the timer tasks created on their own, and project viewers cannot enable or disable timer tasks.

Enable or disable from the list of timer tasks

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Timer > Timer Tasks.

4. Find the timer task that you want to manage, click on the right side, and then select Enable or Disable from the drop-down list.

5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

Enable or disable from the timer task details page

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click O&M Tools to go to the management page of O&M tools.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Timer > Timer Tasks.

4. On the Timer Tasks tab, click the name of the task that you want to manage. The details page of the timer task appears.

5. On the details page of the timer task, click Enable or Disable in the upper-left corner.

6. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
