Edit an SSH key

Describes how to edit an SSH key in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to edit an SSH key in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console. For security purposes, each user can edit only the SSH keys created on their own. The edit operation allows you to modify the name and description of an SSH key.

Prerequisites

The user that you use has been granted the permissions to manage SSH keys. Only user admin, project administrators, and project operators can manage SSH keys.

Edit from the list of SSH keys

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click SSH to go to the SSH Keys page.

  4. Find the SSH key that you want to edit, click operation-menu on the right side, and then select Edit from the drop-down list.

  5. In the dialog box that appears, modify Name and Description of the SSH key, and click OK.

Edit from the SSH key details page

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click SSH to go to the SSH Keys page.

  4. On the SSH Keys page, click the name of an SSH key to view its details.

  5. On the left side of the details page, click Edit in the upper-left corner.

  6. In the dialog box that appears, modify Name and Description of the SSH key, and click OK.
