View VM templates

Describes how to view VM templates in the KSV web console.

This topic describes how to view VM templates in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

User admin can view all VM templates created in your cluster. Common users such as project administrators, operators, and viewers can view the VM templates created in the projects to which they belong.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KSV web console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose VMs > Templates to go to the management page of VM templates.

You can view all VM templates in the project. The following table describes the parameters.

    ParameterDescription
    Name
The custom name of the VM template.
The name can contain only letters, digits, and hyphens (-), and must start and end with a letter or a digit. The name can be up to 16 characters in length.
    ID
The universally unique identifier (UUID) of the template in the system. The UUID is automatically assigned by the system.
    OS
The OS defined in the VM template. You can place the cursor on the OS to view the specific type and version of the OS.
    CPU
The number of CPU cores defined in the template.
    Memory
The memory size defined in the template.
    System Disk
The system disk size defined in the template.
    Shared
Specifies whether the template can be shared with other users. If this feature is enabled, users in other projects can replicate the template.
    Project
The project name in which the template is created.
    Created at
The time when the template was created.
  4. (Optional) Click the search box above the VM template list and set query conditions to search for VM templates by name or ID. For example, use Name:ab to search for VM templates whose name contains the string ab.

  5. (Optional) In the upper-right corner of the page, click refresh to refresh data.
