Delete EIPs

This topic describes how to delete elastic IP addresses (EIPs) in the KubeSphere Virtualization (KSV) web console.

Prerequisites

The user that you use has been granted the permissions to use elastic IP addresses (EIPs). User admin can manage all EIPs in your cluster. Project administrators and operators can manage the EIPs created on their own and have read-only permissions on the EIPs created by other users. Project viewers can view only the EIPs created in the projects to which they belong.

Delete an EIP

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Networks > EIPs to go to the EIP management page.

4. Find the EIP that you want to delete, click on the right side, and then select Delete from the drop-down list.

5. Click OK.

   common:WARNING

   The EIP cannot be restored after it is deleted. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.

   common:NOTE

   Make sure no resources are associated with the EIP that you want to delete. Otherwise, the EIP cannot be deleted.

Delete multiple EIPs at a time

1. Log in to the KSV web console.

2. In the top navigation bar, click Virtual Resources to go to the management page of virtual resources.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Networks > EIPs to go to the EIP management page.

4. On the EIPs page, select the check boxes next to the EIPs that you want to delete and click Delete.

5. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

   common:WARNING

   The EIPs cannot be restored after they are deleted. Exercise caution when you perform this operation.
