Migrate data to different cloud providers to avoid vendor lock-in.

FAQs

  • 1.What are protected applications?

Protected applications are the number of applications (i.e., namespaces) protected by executed backup plans and recovery plans. For example, if you create a backup plan to back up one application once every day, the number of protected applications will be 30 in 30 days. You can delete backup plans to reduce the number of protected applications.

  • 2.Is KubeSphere Backup a free product, and what are its features?

KubeSphere Backup provides a long-term and stable free subscription. You can use the full functionalities of the Standard subscription within the first 30 days of your free subscription, including 500 protected applications and a 500 GB hosted storage repository.

  • 3.How can I import a Kubernetes cluster?

If you choose "Direct Connection", ensure that the IP address of the API server in the kubeconfig file can be accessed via public network. Alternatively, you can use "Agent Connection". For more information, please refer to Import a Kubernetes Cluster..

  • 4.What are the requirements for the access domain name of an object storage repository?
