Billing items

KubeSphere Inspector is billed based on the number of protected clusters, that is, inspection times.

Billing mode

KubeSphere Inspector is charged on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Subscriptions

For registered new users, KubeSphere Inspector offers a one-month free trial of the Standard subscription. After the trial period ends, you can use the free version. In case that you have demanding cluster inspection requirements, we offer the Standard, Professional, and Exclusive subscriptions. The following table lists differences between these versions.

The Free version does not support the ability to export inspection reports or configure email notifications for inspection reports. If you need to use these features, please upgrade to a higher version.

Change of subscription

After you subscribe to the service, you can change your subscription according to your needs. The billing formula is described as follows:

Amount paid = Amount payable of new subscription - (Amount payable of current subscription/Days of current subscription) x (Days of current subscription - Used days of current subscription)

common:NOTE

When you upgrade the subscription, the subscription duration of the new subscription must be equal to or greater than the current subscription duration. For example, if your current subscription has a duration of one quarter, then the new subscription duration can only be one quarter or one year.

Renewal

The Service currently supports renewal of the same subscription or upgrading to a higher-level subscription. Renewal to a lower-level subscription is not supported.

If you renew the current subscription before it expires, the current subscription ends immediately, and a new subscription duration will begin.

Out of credit

The Service will send you a notice starting from 7 days before your subscription expires. You can click Subscribe Now to renew your subscription. On the last day of each month, if you have not used up the inspection times, it will be automatically reset to zero.

If you fail to renew in a timely manner, after your subscription expires, KubeSphere Inspector will continue providing the Free service, but you only have two inspection times.
